Peace Call Uploader

Last updated

The Peace Call Uploader is a small application (our own tool for publishing to YouTube) that Peace Call uses to publish and manage videos on our own YouTube channel, Peace Call (@getpeacecall). It runs privately on our own computer. It isn't sold or offered to the public, and it is never used to access anyone else's channel or data.

This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, or by authorizing it to access a YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy and our own Privacy Policy explain how data is handled. See also our Terms of Use.

What the tool does

Every upload shows a confirmation screen naming the destination channel and the visibility setting before anything is sent to YouTube.

Permissions it asks for

When the channel owner signs in with Google, the tool asks only for permission to upload videos and to manage the channel's videos, thumbnails, and captions. It doesn't ask for Gmail, contacts, or other Google services, and it never sees your Google password.

Data, deletion, and revoking access

The tool stores only its Google authorization token and a short log of the uploads it made (video ID, title, visibility, and time), and deletes log entries after 30 days. It has a Delete stored data button and a Disconnect button that revokes its access at Google immediately. Deleting the tool's stored data doesn't change anything on YouTube; to delete videos, use YouTube Studio.

You can also revoke access at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
