Running a HighLevel Affiliate Site with an AI Agent (Grok Bot): Real Status, How-Tos and Templates
Peace Call is a small, independent HighLevel affiliate site. Since early October 2026 an AI agent, Grok Bot, has done most of the daily work, and this page shows how, with real numbers. Peace Call has no partnership with the company behind Grok Bot, gets no endorsement from it, and isn't paid to mention it. Peace Call may earn a commission if you buy HighLevel through our link. Nothing here is an income claim: so far we have made $0.
This week, for real
Week 42 (Oct 12 to 18, 2026). Updated Sunday, Oct 18, 2026, from our morning report. Refreshed every Monday.
| Real human numbers (last 7 days) | This week |
|---|---|
| Google impressions / clicks | 124 / 0 |
| Bing impressions | 0 |
| Affiliate clicks with a known source (YouTube 3, PeerTube 2, IndieAgora 1) | 6 (another 40 had no source and look automated, so we don't count them) |
| YouTube | 8 public videos, 36 views, 0 subscribers (15 more waiting as private) |
| Bluesky / Mastodon / X followers | 4 / 0 / 0 |
| Cold email (since Oct 13) | 74 sent, 7 bounced, 1 "stop", 0 positive replies |
| Email subscribers / HighLevel signups / revenue | 0 / 0 / $0 |
What we did: reached 119 channels; built one page that links every channel (/elsewhere/); added YouTube playlists, pinned posts and series tags; started this build-in-public series.
What failed: Pinterest declined to unblock getpeacecall.com (Oct 18). Two Lemmy servers declined the signup. Ko-fi unpublished our page. Social posts reached almost nobody.
What's blocked (needs a human): 15 private YouTube videos need publishing in Studio. Phone verification for YouTube features. Gumroad payouts (photo ID). The virtual office address is paid (Oct 2026); its use in email footers is not recorded yet.
What's next: rewrite the pages Google already shows; publish one private video a day; answer more real questions, broadcast less; post week 3 with per-channel numbers.
What does it cost? (real)
Exchange rate used: 1 USD = 158 JPY (ECB reference rate via Frankfurter, Oct 16, 2026). USD amounts are approximate. Anything we don't have a record for says "not recorded yet" instead of a guess.
| Item | What we pay | Approx. USD | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grok Bot (the AI agent) | 15,000 JPY a month | about $95 a month | The owner's plan |
| Virtual office (NAWABARI), the postal address that email rules require | 13,200 JPY a year, paid in October 2026 (about 1,100 JPY a month) | about $84 a year (about $7 a month) | The owner's payment |
| Domain getpeacecall.com (bought Oct 3, 2026 through Google Workspace; registrar: Squarespace Domains) | Not recorded yet | – | The purchase email shows no price |
| Google Workspace (the hello@ mailbox) | Paid plan since Oct 17, 2026; price not recorded yet | – | The "trial is ending" email shows no price |
| Hosting and CDN (Cloudflare) | 0 (Free plan) | $0 | Cloudflare's confirmation email |
| The 119 channels, email tool, search and YouTube APIs, video sites | 0 (free plans) | $0 | |
| Ads and paid tools | 0 | $0 | We don't run any |
Known total so far: about 16,100 JPY a month (about $102), plus the domain and Workspace once their prices are recorded. Revenue so far: $0.

Does it work with an AI agent? (living table)
From our own records, updated as things change. Yes = the agent runs it alone. Partly = a human does one step, or the rules limit what we post. No = blocked, or needs a real-name or phone-verified person.
| Platform | Works with an AI agent? | Why | What we learned |
|---|---|---|---|
| Own site (static, Cloudflare) | Yes | Full control, API deploys | The best home base. Everything links back here. |
| Bluesky | Yes | Official API, app password | Easy to post; reach comes from replies, not volume (4 followers after 30 posts). |
| Mastodon | Partly | API key can post and pin, not edit the profile | Give the key only the permissions it needs, and plan profile edits as a human step. |
| Tumblr, Dev.to | Yes | Official APIs | Posting works; human reactions are still 0 on Dev.to. |
| YouTube | Partly | Owner sign-in + phone; API uploads private until audit | Plan the human steps first; 15 videos wait for Studio. |
| No (for now) | Domain suspended; appeal declined Oct 18 | One decision can close a whole channel. Don't rely on one platform. | |
| X | Partly | No API access; new-account limits | Small at first no matter how much you post. |
| Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Telegram | No | Phone/SMS verification | Owner decision; skipped for now. |
| Facebook, LinkedIn, Product Hunt | No | Real-name personal profile required | We use the brand name only, so we skip them. |
| Partly | Blocks automated access (403) | Human-only: the agent drafts, a person posts. | |
| Lemmy.world, Lemmy.zip | No | Registration declined | Manual-approval servers may not accept brand accounts. |
| Ko-fi | No | Page unpublished as SEO spam | A page made mostly of links looks like spam. |
| Podbean | No | Account frozen | We use other podcast hosts. |
| Rumble | Unclear | Uploads succeed, page shows 0 videos | Check before adding more. |
| Nostr (Japanese relays) | Partly | Relays refused writes from a US server | Location of the request can matter. |
| Ameba | Partly | No outside affiliate links | Link only to our own articles. |
| Bear Blog | No new posts | Rules ban promotional blogs | Read the rules before posting. |
| FreePBX Community, r/smallbusiness | Partly | No referral links / no promo posts | Answers only, human-approved. |
| Gmail (cold email) | Yes, with rules | Connector authorized once by the owner | Verify addresses first; 22% bounce on night one taught us that. |
| Kit (email list) | Partly | Needs a postal address for marketing email | 0 subscribers so far. |
| Gumroad | Partly | Payouts need the owner's photo ID | Free products work; money needs a human. |
Human does this part, then Grok Bot takes over
From our own setup. Times are rough estimates for the human step.
| Service | You do (once, roughly) | Then Grok Bot does |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail and other connectors | Authorize the connection once (about 2 min) | Reads the inbox, drafts and sends within the rules, logs everything |
| YouTube / Google | Sign in on the agent's browser and enter the SMS code; verify the channel by phone (about 10 min) | Uploads (private), titles, descriptions, playlists; you click Publish in Studio until the API audit passes |
| HighLevel affiliate program | Sign up and submit the tax form (W-8BEN for non-US owners) (about 15 min) | Writes guides, places the referral link with disclosure, follows the affiliate rules |
| PayPal | Approve sign-ins in your app or by SMS when asked (about 1 min each time) | Checks status and records; never sends money |
| Virtual office (postal address) | Pass the ID check and pay (about 30 min) | Uses the address in email footers and email-tool settings |
| Gumroad payouts | Upload a photo ID (about 5 min) | Keeps free products and descriptions up to date |
| Social accounts with email-only sign-up (e.g. Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr, Dev.to) | Nothing, or approve the account name | Signs up with the brand email, fills in the profile, posts from the queue |
| Social accounts that need a phone (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Telegram) | Create the account with your phone (about 10 min each), or decide to skip | Prepares posts and images; you post if the app has no API |
Step by step
- Gmail / connectors. You do: open the connector link and approve access for the brand mailbox (about 2 min). Then Grok Bot does: daily inbox digest, replies to real questions, cold email within the limits below.
- YouTube. You do: sign in to Google on the agent's browser, type the SMS code, and verify the channel by phone (about 10 min). Note that a brand-new Workspace address may not be able to use YouTube for about 30 days. Then Grok Bot does: renders and uploads videos as private, adds titles, tags and playlists, and lists what's ready. You do: click Publish in Studio (1 min per video).
- HighLevel affiliate. You do: sign up as an affiliate and submit the tax form (about 15 min). Then Grok Bot does: guides, comparisons and templates, each with a disclosure and the unchanged referral link.
- PayPal. You do: approve each sign-in in the PayPal app or by SMS (about 1 min). Then Grok Bot does: reads balances and payout status. It never sends or moves money.
- Virtual office. You do: choose a plan, pass the ID check and pay (about 30 min). Then Grok Bot does: adds the address to email footers so marketing email follows CAN-SPAM.
- Social accounts. You do: nothing for email-only sign-ups; create phone-verified accounts yourself (about 10 min each). Then Grok Bot does: profile, pinned post, queue, replies.
How-to: daily routines and the posting pipeline
- Write each job as a short prompt with a fixed time (Japan time for us): for example "08:45 numbers", "07:31 Bluesky post", "23:17 cold email".
- Keep content in queue files (one JSON list per platform). The job posts the next unposted item and marks it posted, so nothing posts twice.
- Set daily caps per platform (ours: Bluesky 5, Mastodon 4, Tumblr 4, X 1) and never go over them.
- Every link carries
utm_source=<platform>, so clicks can be traced to a channel. - A weekly job refills the queues from new articles, and a weekly report cuts channels with no human signal after four weeks.
How-to: cold email rules
- Target only businesses whose own public website shows the problem you solve.
- Check every address first: the domain accepts mail, the address is on the company's site, it's not on the opt-out list, and not already in the sent log.
- At most 20 a day, one email per business, no follow-ups, a clear way to say stop.
- Pause the channel if bounces go over 5% or on any complaint, and ask a human before resuming.
- Marketing email needs a real postal address in the footer (CAN-SPAM).
How-to: the YouTube pipeline
- Write the script as a table: line, on-screen text, scene.
- Render vertical Shorts (1080×1920) and horizontal videos from the script with your own music and voice; label dramatizations.
- Upload through the API (private until the audit), with keyword-first titles, a disclosure in the description, and a playlist.
- A human publishes in Studio; the agent checks views the next morning.
How-to: measuring real humans
- Use Search Console and Bing for search, and each platform's own counts for followers and views.
- Filter clicks: drop known bots, data-center traffic and your own tests; count a click as human only when it has a source (a referrer or a utm tag).
- Write one line per source per day into a CSV, and compare week over week.
- If a number can't be fetched, write "not available". Never estimate.
Copyable prompts and templates
Morning numbers
Every morning at 8:45, collect yesterday's Search Console impressions and clicks, YouTube views, social followers and affiliate-link clicks. Remove bots and my own test clicks. Write one line per source to metrics.csv and tell me only what changed. Never estimate a number you couldn't fetch.
One helpful reply
Find up to 5 posts from small-business owners asking about missed calls or answering services. Write a short, specific answer with no link. Don't like, follow or repost anything. Show me the replies before posting for the first week.
Cold email guardrails
Before sending any cold email: check the domain has MX records, the address is on the company's own site, it isn't on my opt-out list, and it isn't in the sent log. At most 20 a day, one per business, no follow-ups. Pause if bounces go over 5% and tell me.
Rule check before a new platform
Before posting on a new site, read its rules and write down: are AI-written posts allowed, are affiliate links allowed, is self-promotion limited, does it need a phone or real name. If any answer blocks us, don't post; log it in the platform table.
Weekly status
Every Monday, rewrite the "This week, for real" block on the hub from the weekly report: real human numbers, what we did, what failed, what's blocked, what's next. Use only numbers from the report. Keep zeros.
