Prompts are starting points written by Peace Call. AI tools can be wrong: read every message before it goes to a customer, keep texts short, and do not promise prices, arrival times, or outcomes you cannot keep. Results vary. Not legal advice.

How to use these with HighLevel

  1. Replace the [BRACKETS] in a prompt with your details and paste it into Grok (grok.com or the app).
  2. Pick the best version, edit it by hand, and check the length (one SMS is 160 plain characters; our text generator counts segments).
  3. In HighLevel, open Automation → Workflows. You can customize the Missed Call Text Back recipe or build a workflow with the Call Details trigger, as described in our missed call text back guide.
  4. Add or edit the Send SMS action and paste your text. Keep the opt-out line.
  5. Test with a real unanswered call, check the workflow's enrollment history, then publish. US business texting usually needs A2P 10DLC registration first.

The prompts

1. Missed-call text-back, first text

You are a copywriter for a [TRADE] business called [BUSINESS NAME]. Write 5 versions of a text that is sent automatically when we miss a call. Each must be under 160 characters, plain characters only (no emojis, no curly quotes), mention the business name, ask one easy question, and end with 'Reply STOP to opt out.' Do not promise a callback time or a price.

2. After-hours auto-reply

Write 4 short after-hours SMS replies for [BUSINESS NAME], a [TRADE] business. Hours: [HOURS]. Each must say we are closed, say when we will respond, and ask for the job address or the problem in one line. If the message mentions gas, smoke, sparks, or flooding, add: 'If this is an emergency, call 911.' Under 160 characters each.

3. Safety-first triage reply

Write a text reply for a [TRADE] business that is sent when a customer says there is a possible emergency (gas smell, smoke, electrical sparking, active leak). It must tell them to call 911 or the right emergency service first, then say we will follow up. Do not give repair instructions. Under 300 characters.

4. Follow-up day 1

Write 3 friendly follow-up texts for a customer who contacted [BUSINESS NAME] ([TRADE]) yesterday and did not answer our reply. Each under 160 characters, no pressure, one clear question, include 'Reply STOP to opt out.'

5. Follow-up day 3

Write 3 follow-up texts, sent 3 days after the first contact, for a [TRADE] lead who has not replied. Offer to help with one specific next step (a callback or sharing the job details). No fake urgency, no discounts or offers I have not given you. Under 160 characters.

6. Review request

Write 4 short texts asking a customer to leave a review after a finished [TRADE] job at [BUSINESS NAME]. Thank them by first name placeholder [FIRST NAME], keep each under 200 characters, and put [REVIEW LINK] at the end. Do not offer anything in exchange for the review.

7. Booking confirmation

Write a confirmation text for an appointment with [BUSINESS NAME]: date [DATE], time window [WINDOW], address [ADDRESS]. Include how to reschedule by replying, and 'Reply STOP to opt out.' Under 320 characters.

8. Reschedule or cancel reply

Write 3 polite replies for when a customer asks to reschedule or cancel an appointment with a [TRADE] business. Ask for a preferred new day and time. Do not mention fees unless I give you the policy: [POLICY OR 'none'].

9. Spanish version

Translate this missed-call text into natural Spanish for US customers, then give a bilingual English + Spanish version. Avoid the letters á, í, ó, ú where a normal spelling is still correct, so the text stays one SMS segment. Keep it under 160 characters: [PASTE TEXT].

10. Tighten to one SMS

Shorten this text to fit in 160 plain characters without losing the question or the opt-out line: [PASTE TEXT]. Show the character count.

11. Tone check

Rewrite this customer text so it sounds warm, local and professional, not pushy or robotic. Keep the meaning, keep it under 160 characters: [PASTE TEXT].

12. Quality checklist reviewer

Review these texts for a [TRADE] business. Flag anything that promises a price, a time, or a result; anything missing an opt-out line; anything over 160 characters; and anything that could confuse a customer in an emergency. List fixes. Texts: [PASTE TEXTS]
