Voice AI After-Hours Prompt Builder

What it does

Fill in your business, hours, service area, and what the agent may book. It writes a prompt you can paste into a voice agent, including HighLevel’s custom Voice AI agent. Safety lines for your trade are always included. Nothing you type is uploaded.

Disclosure: Peace Call earns a commission if you buy HighLevel through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. We are an independent affiliate, not HighLevel. This guide is based on official vendor documentation, pricing pages, and primary sources as checked in October 2026 — not on client deployments of our own. Full disclosure.
Collect on routine calls

Safety lines for the trade you picked are locked. They are appended even if you clear the other fields. Have the owner approve the whole prompt before any caller hears it. This is not legal, medical, or safety advice.

Where this goes in HighLevel

HighLevel’s help article How to Create Voice AI Agents (modified October 1, 2026, read October 9, 2026) says a custom agent is created under AI Agents → Voice AI → Agent List → + Create Agent → Create Custom Agent. Paste this text into the agent prompt. Put hours, services, and the approved fee in the Knowledge Base as well, and describe when the agent should search it. Set the welcome message separately. The article says a reliable prompt defines the role, what to collect, topics it may answer, claims it must avoid, when each action runs, when to transfer, and how the call ends. This builder follows that list.

Test with Web Call first. The same article says Call Transfer does not run on a Web Call. Use a phone-call test before you rely on transfers. Tell the agent not to guess, which the article also recommends. HighLevel has a Prompt Optimizer. It does not change the live prompt until you choose to apply a variation. Review it. Don’t paste this prompt and assume it matches every checkbox in the builder. Button names above are from that article on October 9, 2026.

The same prompt is written so you can adapt it for other voice tools. A longer PDF, with an email signup, is the AI Receptionist Prompt Pack. Trade scripts: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, dental, law firms, roofing, med spas.

What the locked lines do

They tell the agent to stop intake and escalate for gas smells, carbon monoxide alarms, smoke, sparks, downed lines, water near electricity, breathing trouble, pesticide exposure, and (for dental, med spa, and law) advice the business should not give by phone. Wording is short on purpose. Your licensed tech, dentist, attorney, or owner should replace any line they don’t want spoken. The builder will not omit the block for the selected trade.

FAQ

Will this prompt book appointments by itself?

No. In HighLevel you still add an Appointment Booking action and connect a calendar if you want live booking. Choose “connected calendar” in the builder only after that action exists. Otherwise use callback or the time windows you typed.

Does it store what I type?

No. The prompt is built in your browser. Copy it yourself.

Is this a HighLevel bonus or a longer trial?

No. It’s a free writing aid on this site. HighLevel’s pricing page offers a 14-day trial. Peace Call does not add a discount, coupon, or extra trial.
